Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is one of most famous and rich Reggae artists. He was a member of Shottas together with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records and recorded his 1996 debut album Like Father Like Son. This was followed by numerous singles, including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap fit (remix) and Sensimelia. These all have contributed to the growing reputation of Ky-Mani as a new reggae musician. In 1997, Ky-Mani formed a band with Praswell (Fugees) on Avenue a hit cover version that was a cover of the song by Eddy Grant Electric Avenue. Marley was a guest in Midem (international music festival) in the year it was held in Miami for the first time. Marley performed a set live at the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcasted by Caribbean News Agency across 36 nations. Marley's name was the subject of a bidding war. He joined Gee Street/V2 Record.
