Louisa Krause has been an actor for more than 20 years. She is most famous for appearing in the lead role as Anna Garner in the television show The Girl Experience . Brenda Woodberg was her debut movie role in the film The Babysitters. Krause studied drama in college and then appeared in numerous off-Broadway productions. She also appeared in episodes of New York-based network television shows. The family is from American and Japanese descent. Nathaniel is her older brother. He is also a director. In Washington D.C., at the Washington School of Ballet she developed an interest in dance. As she entered high-school she began to be more active with other artistic pursuits. Following high school, she enrolled in an acting program at Carnegie Mellon Drama School. Krause was ready to embark on a career as an actor. Her Equity card was earned through her participation in Aida, a musical production. Louisa Krause got her start at the theatre. She made her debut in 2006 at the Huntington Theatre Company. She played Iphigenia In the production of Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 from 2007.
